Department of MES KR for Osh region

The Headquarters of Local Anti-aircraft Defense of Osh region were established on January 1^st, 1952.

The Civil Defense Headquarters of Osh region were established on March 18^th, 1961 in accordance with the Direction of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic in order to organize and administer the civil defense system of Osh region.

The Civil Defense Headquarters of Osh region were renamed into the Department of Civil Defense of Osh regionthrough the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic “On approval of the Regulation on the Main Department of Civil Defense under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic” № 760 as of December 8^th, 2003, the Order of the Main Department of Civil Defense (MDCD) under the Ministry of Ecology and Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic № 04 as of January 27^th, 2004.

By the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic№ 462 “On Improvement of the Governance Structure of the Kyrgyz Republic” of October 16^th, 2005, the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic № 541 “On Matters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic” of November 29^th, 2005, the Order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic № С 513 “On Introducing the Regulation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic and on the Elimination of the Main Department of Civil Defense under the Ministry of Ecology and Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic” of December 12^th, 2005,and the Order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic № 07 as of February 14^th, 2006the Southern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic composed of the Departments of Civil Defense of Osh, Jalalabad and Batken regions was established.

In order to execute the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic № 167 as of April 12, 2001, “On Some Issues related to the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic ‘On the Status of Osh city’” as of October 4, 2000, the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Conceptual Approaches to Reorganization of Administrative Structure in the Kyrgyz Republic” of July 4^th, 2007  and based on the Order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic № 136 as of February 19^th, 2008, the Southern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic was reorganized into the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Osh, Jalalabad and Batken regions.
